Since 2019, Senior Minister. 2011-14, Chairman, IMFC, the key policy forum of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). 2017-18, Chair, G20 Eminent Persons Group on Global Financial Governance. Since 2017, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Group of Thirty, an independent global council of economic and financial leaders. Co-Chair of the Global Commission on the Economics of Water launched in 2022, and member of the United Nations High-Level Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism. 2019-2022, Co-Chair of the Advisory Board for the UN's 2019 Human Development Report. Since 2019, Co-Chair of the Global Education Forum. Since 2011, Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Singapore’s central bank and financial regulator. Since 2019, Deputy Chairman, Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) and since 2011, Chair of its Investment Strategies Committee. Since 2019, Member of the Board of Trustees, World Economic Forum. Honorary Fellow, London School of Economics.
